Who is the the MESSIAH, the King of Israel the Prophets foretold?

For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son, is given. The Government shall be upon his shoulder: and his Name shall be Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. [Isaiah.9:6].

“ But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”
Mica 5:2

Luke 2:4: "So it was, that while they were there (Betlehem), the days were completed for her to be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger"

“Yet I have set My King (Messiah) On My holy hill of Zion.”
“I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Psalms 2
Who's Son is He? (The Messiah)
...his Name shall be Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. [Isaiah.9:6].

He MUST BE GOD's!

. - the origin of Isaiah the prophet was that of 860 years before the time of Christ! He didn't even know the man! Only God!!

Isaiah not only says this, but that Messiah shall be born of a virgin. The hewbrew text: "Almah" which means sexually untouched woman.) "Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call his name Immanuel. (Which means "God With Us") Isa. 7:14.
Now, in jewish life, someone's name, could define the very characheristics of the person. - To the jews, to know one's name, was to know the person. It was essential to living. Now here the prophet says the very Messiah shall be born of a virgin. hebrew: "Almah", and that He is "God With Us" - "I - Manu- El." IT talks about God HIMSELF, coming in HUMAN FLESH.

King David (Who also is a prophet) explains that " " Messiah-King shall be murdured through spearing/piercing through hands and feet.

Psalms 22:17:
"16 For dogs have surrounded Me; The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet;" (carried through jewish Writings even since 900 years Before Christ.)

Well, He's not only a man. He's a combination of God and man, in one. "

2.

the King shall be meek, gentle/ humble.

(the prophet Zechariah chpt. 9, verse 9 [OT]:) "He (the Messiah) shall come low, riding upon a donkey. ". This is the "low" entry of the Messiah. He is completely non-politically aimed, and non-war. (the hebrew expression is
"shaphal" (pronounced shaw-fawl) and means, low, humble.)

2a)

(Hebrew/jewish reliable prophet who lived 600 B.C.)chpt 9: v9: explains:

9: 9 “ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.
He shall speak peace to the nations;
His dominion shall be ‘from sea to sea,
And from the River to the ends of the earth." (All continents!!)
_________________________
THAT MEANS according to this prophesy, (true or not), That the man on the donkey, shall be king over all the earth!!

What a difference!! That is why the jews think of the Messiah the prophets spoke about to be such a great king. This new king will have dominion over all the earth. - A privilegue clearly none of his ancestors will be doing.

But the King shall be badly treated

Isaiah was a prophet who lived around 680 B.C. He foresaw a great event in human history. There would come a man, he said, who would carry the enormous burden of all makinds sin on his shoulders. Every little sin that we have commited, the Messiah would carry. Read Isaiah's prophecy below.
Isaiahbook 53:v3 Old T:
" He is despised and rejected of men. a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief! and we hid as it were our faces from him, he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4Surely he hath borne our griefs. and carried our sorrows. yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. (Justly put to death)
5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities [sins]. And the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him (the Messiah) the iniquity of us all.
" - Isaiabook 53:5. [Old Testament]
This prophecy/text were written centuries even before Christ's birth. Was this a lucky guess, or is there a God who exists, who told him about the crucifixtion of Jesus?

The King has to be born Bet-lehem (in Israel)

2 “ But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.” Prophet Mica 5:2
Reminder=Jesus was born in Betlehem!
Luke 2:4: "So it was, that while they were there (Betlehem), the days were completed for her to be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger"

5. the King/Messiah HAS to be of the Bloodline of King David (an ancestor)
Hebrew scriptures tell us that this great King is a son of David! In hewbrew: "Hamashiach Ben-David". "the anointed One, Son-of David".
How does this correspond to Jesus?
Well, actully, both Yoseph and Miriam [parents of Jesus] are of the Ancestry of David. Which is a strong evidence/sign, that Jesus is the Messiah, the one who is anointed to be King.
Remember though, that Miriam is only the mother of Jesus. And Yoseph is not even father. Not biologically. That is God, who placed Him inside Mary personally. That's God.
